DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal – THANK YOU
We would like to say a big thank you to all those involved in our Haiti Fundraiser. Totals are still being counted and verified but we estimate to have raised somewhere in the region of £1100 for the appeal. We will being posting an official press release on our PR/Media Gallery for full details of all our sponsors, particularly the Glenridding Hotel, the Rampsbeck Country House Hotel, Acoustic Cumbria and all the crew who gave up their time today.

Marching into Spring
Temperatures should be soon on the rise and those first signs of Spring will appear. Look out for the Daffodils on the
Glencoyne shore, these lenten lillies immortalised by the that famous poem penned by William Wordsworth. Anyway if you are still feeling the cold what better way to warm up than go for a walk, there are lots of walks around Ullswater to suit all abilities so visit our Walking pages, your chance to sign up for a FREE Lakeland Walker issue. For those in need of a little more TLC, wrap up warm and come and sit in our cosy Pier House where we can tempt you to one of our famous Steamer Chocolates topped with choccie sprinkles and marshmallows - do you know what I think I might just pop down there and try one myself, diet starts tomorrow!

This latest little outing means we are going to have one very tired Squirrel come Easter. Well think again because there is lot coming up, see our event pages for the full list.
