Family Of Businesses Raises Additional Sums for Nurture Lakeland

A family of Lake District-based businesses, which has long supported the aims and conservation projects managed by Nurture Lakeland, has now created another means of donating to the responsible tourism organisation’s Visit Give Protect scheme.

Lake District Estates’ businesses, Ullswater ‘Steamers’ and the holiday parks Hill of Oaks (Windermere), Buck Yeats Lodge Park (Newby Bridge), Woodclose Park (Kirkby Lonsdale) and Waterfoot Park (Pooley Bridge) all now offer an online donation opt in button, which allows those booking tickets or holidays to donate an minimum sum of £1 to Nurture Lakeland. With Gift Aid, this can increase to at least £1.25.
