It has been a very tough year for everyone, and it is with a heavy heart that we announce the temporary closure of Ullswater 'Steamers'.

Following careful consideration of the current situation and travel advice from the Government, we have made the decision to temporarily close Ullswater ‘Steamers’ with effect from 17:00 on Wednesday 23rd December. We will constantly monitor the situation and look to reopen as soon as conditions allow us to do so in the New Year.

The health and well-being of our visitors, colleagues, local communities and suppliers are of utmost importance to us.  We understand that this will be a huge disappointment to our customers, but ultimately, we all want to protect the health and safety of everyone who sails with us and the wider community. Although it has been a tough decision for us to make, we believe that this is the most responsible route to take.

Those customers who had tickets booked have been contacted directly and refunds will be processed.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a merry and safe Christmas and we look forward to welcoming you on board in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
