The lake road may be closed today between about 9:30am and 2:30pm at Glencoyne. If travelling from the North you can sail from Pooley Bridge or Aira Force. If travelling from the south over Kirkstone Pass you will still be able to get to Glenridding although there are rolling roadworks on Kirkstone Pass as well which may mean that the road there is closed for approx 1 hour.
We are delighted to be named as one of the locations that will be accepting the new Lake Dsitrict £ - launching tomorrow!
