Please note that due to a landslip, access to Ullswater and Glenridding village is currently via the north only. Our Pooley Bridge pier is temporarily closed for improvement works, but all sailings from Glenridding pier are operating as usual.

Parking at Glenridding
We have a pay and display car park on-site at Glenridding. The machine for this is just at the bottom of the ramp as you approach the pier houses. It takes cash or contactless cards.
There is also a large pay and display car park in the village, just a short walk from our pier house
We have 1 x double 11kW EV charger on site located by the picnic area. Charges apply. Please download the Monta app in advance of your visit and follow the instructions to charge your vehicle. Please note that Ullswater Steamers do not manage the app services. Please contact Monta directly via the app if you have any queries or issues. Please note that car parking charges apply whilst using the EV.
Parking at Pooley Bridge
There are 2 pay and display car parks on either side of the bridge and extra car parking in a field signposted in the village.

There is a National Trust car park at Aira Force, just a short walk away from our pier.
The postcode for this car park is CA11 0JS.
Parking at Howtown
Due to its secluded nature, there are no car parking facilities available at Howtown.

Our temporary timetable has been carefully planned to align with the 508 Stagecoach bus service, which links Penrith and Pooley Bridge with Glenridding daily throughout the year.
