Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy Spectators’ Cruise

Join our spectator cruise for the Ullswater Yacht Club’s biggest event of the year, the Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy race. You’re welcome to bring a picnic, and our onboard licensed bar will be open, so you can toast the celebrations in style. The ticket price includes a three-hour cruise with race commentary.
Important information about our spectators’ cruise
- Parking – there are three pay and display car parks within a short walk of Pooley Bridge pier, and some on-street parking in Pooley Bridge. Please refer to car park signage for charges and the times that they are applicable.
- The pier is a 5-10 minute walk from Pooley Bridge village/car parks.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before departure.
- Clothing – please bring a warm coat as it can be chilly out on the lake.
- Facilities onboard – Bar and toilets onboard. You may bring your own picnic.
- In case of cancellations, please refer to the booking T & Cs.
- Please note that dogs are not permitted at this event.
